Reminder: Friday, October 11 is No School for Yakima School District

Just a head's up that there's no school on October 11.

Yakima School District is holding Professional Development Day for its staff. Good news is that it means no school for students in the Yakima School District. Bad news is that if you're a teacher or certified staff, you'll probably have to attend all the same. Sorry.

Monday, October 14 is Indigenous People's Day but doesn't come with an extra day off of school so your kids will be back to school on Monday.

Other school districts in the surrounding area may be a part of this, too. Check with your local school just in case.
