We've been experiencing shortages of many things. Whether it's because of lack of product, lack of workers, or even greedy hoarders. One thing that we might add to the list, isn't because of those three, but something that has the potential to be much worse... Salmonella! Of course I'm talking about whole Onions!

The Center For Disease Control (CDC) has issued a recall on fresh whole raw white, yellow and red onions. The main onions in questions were imported from the State of Chihuahua, Mexico and was distributed by Keeler Family Farms and ProSource Produce LLC. They were sold to restaurants and groceries stores back in late August, but can be stored for up to 3 months.
