How can you help an organization that does so much with helping the community? The simple answer is: be there! But that doesn’t quite narrow it down. Luckily for us, they just did! The Salvation Army of Yakima is holding an open house, and the whole community, which they help, is invited!

Between offering leadership meetings, community clean up, food drives, summer camps for kids, and much more, the Salvation Army of Yakima has been making a difference in our community for many years and continues to do so!

The Salvation Army of Yakima (310 N. 16th Ave. in Yakima) will be having its open house on Tuesday, May 16th, from 5 pm to 7 pm. The open house will include tours of of the facilities as well as information on upcoming programs. There will be committee information and overviews, plus testimonies from advisory board members about the achievements of the past, and goals for the future of the Salvation Army in the Yakima Valley.
