Brooks totaled 360 tackles, 6.5 sacks and two interceptions in four seasons with Texas Tech. Brooks set a career-high with 108 tackles in his senior season.

The Seahawks will have three more selections on Friday during round 2 and 3 to include the 59th and 64 overall picks. The latter was part of the trade that sent DE Frank Clark to the champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The draft, being conducted remotely due to shelter-in-place orders around the country, will wrap-up Saturday with rounds 4 through 7, barring any technical snafus or glitches. Seattle holds two slots in the 4th round (#133 and #144), none in the 5th and one in the 6th (#214) barring any trade activity, for a grand total of 6 selections.
