Anybody who says they turn the lights out early in Selah has never been there at Christmastime. And they've certainly never been there for the annual Selah Lighted Parade, which -- now in its third year -- draws brightly decorated trucks, vans, cars and even farm equipment from all over the area.

Friday night (Nov. 30), crowds packed the streets as firetrucks, tractor-trailer rigs and other elaborately electrified vehicles rolled down First Street. The chilly weather didn't seem to bother the bundled-up onlookers.

Even Mother Nature seemed to enjoy the show, holding off on a steady rain until everyone was headed home.
