Well, we warned you.

The winter weather that was expected in the Cascades arrived as forecasted and the snow has been stacking up all day.

So have the vehicle collisions as cars wander across lanes as they slide out of control.

Traction tires and chains have been required, but the snow has been falling so heavy it didn't stop the collisions from closing down I-90 multiple times Thursday, but not just in the Cascades. Spokane is also seeing lots of snow.

Back on Snoqualmie Pass though, Washington State Patrol troopers have been forced to start ticketing people trying to go over the pass without chains.

For the third time today, eastbound lanes were closed on I-90 near mile marker 45 due to collisions, according to the Washington Department of Transportation. WSDOT says it's snowing hard with ice, snow and slush on the roadway.
