People who care and rock are holding a fundraiser this Saturday, September 14th, from noon to 9 pm!
The 2nd Annual: SUDS Against Suicide @ The Chainsaw Cat!
Ever since Yakima’s latest venue, The Chainsaw Cat (509 W. Yakima Ave.), burst onto the scene in July of 2023, it has been a rockin’ beacon for concerts, entertainment, and a great place to hang out.
Helping out and giving back to the community is something that the crew at The Chainsaw Cat feels strongly about, and they’re proving it again with this upcoming fundraiser.
“A night of fun, beer, local music, tattoos (all day), and fundraising for suicide prevention!!! 5 – 9 pm” – The Chainsaw Cat.
It takes a lot of help to make an event this great happen, and luckily, Iron Horse Brewery and Cyclops Tattoo are there to lend a hand, a drink, and some tattoo work.
*Walk-in tattoos from noon to 7 pm.
*Live music from Tempest kicks off at 7 pm.

This is an all-ages event (of course, tattoos you need to be 18 or older, and alcohol will be 21 and older), and a percentage of the proceeds will go to the Washington Chapter AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention).
“We at The Chainsaw Cat don’t know anyone who hasn’t experienced the heartache of losing a friend or family member to suicide. This event is really near & dear to our hearts, we would love to see everyone there to support this cause.” - The Chainsaw Cat.

And once again, if you need help, please reach out at 9-8-8. You are not alone.
