Fire closes Chinook Pass
The Norse Peak fire has closed State Route 410 at Chinook Pass. Wednesday night the fire had grown to 900 acres and threatened 13 homes that were evacuated Wednesday afternoon.
Take the scenic route
Washington really is such a beautiful state. From the top to the bottom and even some of the desert spots in the middle of the state. The Yakima River Canyon is gorgeous. The hop fields in Moxee are always fun to look at. But one of my favorite trips is going toward Chinook Pass. It is breathtaking. This Tuesday (June 20) you can join me on that beautiful ride.
