When it's as hot as it was Tuesday, we all know the best cure: cold drinks in a cool bar! And we found both in Selah as Central Washington Bike Nights took its first trip to Tailgaters Bar & Grill.
The sun isn't the only thing shining in Yakima this weekend. If you want to see some serious shine -- and some serious horsepower -- you gotta get to the Central Washington Custom Car & Cycle Show at the Yakima Convention Center, 10 N. Eighth St.
Washington really is such a beautiful state. From the top to the bottom and even some of the desert spots in the middle of the state. The Yakima River Canyon is gorgeous. The hop fields in Moxee are always fun to look at. But one of my favorite trips is going toward Chinook Pass. It is breathtaking. This Tuesday (June 20) you can join me on that beautiful ride.
Tonight (June 13) is another Central Washington Bike Nights, and you have only two more weeks to get signed up for the Legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip camping and concerts at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally with Owens Harley-Davidson. This evening's gathering runs from 6-8 at Mickey's Pub/Orion Movie Theatre, 202 E. Chestnut Ave. -- and they have some of the best food on this trip.
If you appreciate a sweet chassis -- whether it's on a car, truck, bike or a bodybuilder -- and you didn't get to attend last weekend's Central Washington Custom Car and Cycle Show, here are some photos from the Yakima Valley Convention Center to give you a little taste. We had a blast!
