All the talk, fear and statistics surrounding the Coronavirus is overwhelming but in the end, it comes down to the health of each individual.  How do you feel?

The presenting symptoms are fever, sore throat, deep dry hacking cough, shortness of breath, headache and in some cases gastrointestinal distress, vomiting and diarrhea.

What should you do if you think you may be infected?

According to the experts at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital these are the steps to follow to get to a test.

1.) Call 509 225 4669  that's the number to the COVID-19 Evaluation Clinic located in

the Creekside Complex on South 40th Avenue. (Memorial's Healthy Now location) If the phone screener thinks you should be seen you'll be directed to drive to their location -but stay in your car.

2.) The address is 3903 Creekside Loop Suite 115.  When you get there, medical personnel in masks, gloves and gowns will direct you where to park for an in person in vehicle evaluation.

3.) If you look like you need the test to confirm the Coronavirus you will directed where to go next.  The tests aren't being done at the hospital and the location isn't being announced so as not to overwhelm the testing team with unscheduled visits from patients seeking tests who haven't been pre-screened.
