According to the National Day Calendar, today (February 11th) is "White Shirt Day".

As a white t-shirt aficionado myself, I was pleased to find out that white t-shirts are, indeed, included in the celebration but was surprised to find out that today is not only "known as National White T-Shirt Day, [but it] commemorates the day a historic auto worker strike resolved on February 11, 1937."

Far be it from me to ever be confused with a "clothes horse". I keep it pretty simple on a daily basis. Ball cap, blue jeans, white socks and tennis shoes and, of course, a plethora of white t-shirts.

* Don't Cry Over Spilled Milk Day
* Make a Friend Day
* Peppermint Patty Day
* Shut-In Visitation Day
and last, but not least,
* Inventors' Day
With that knowledge I am reminded of one of my favorite segments on "Late Night" and "The Late Show" with David Letterman where he spotlighted kid inventors.

Comedy. Freaking. Gold.
