I'm sure you've heard me speak about my giant sports memorabilia collection aka "Man Cave", or perhaps even saw it when I was featured on KIMA TV's biggest fan's man cave or she shed segments. So, it's no surprise that I have a lot. Some I've bought, and immediately it goes in the shrine, never to be touched. Other stuff, I bought, it fits, I enjoy it. But I'm torn with one of my newer collectables.

Just shy of a year ago, the Seattle announced the name and logo of their NHL team, the Seattle Kraken! Timmy and myself were (and still are) pumped! Of course, we bought our gear to help us identify with our fellow "Krakheads". One item that we both got, I'm torn on what I should do with. Should I wear it, or just collect it? It's my "Release The Kraken" cap. This was a day one release (along with shirts) where 100% of the net proceeds were given to Seattle nonprofits YouthCare, Community Passageways and the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle (according to Front Office Sports Twitter Page). I'm sure the same style and design have already been released in other forms of swag, but this one, being day one makes it a little more special to me.

Timmy has said that his hat is now safely in his "Nerd Nook", but I like my hats. What should I do? Wear it or display it? If I did keep it safe and keep it as a collectable, it MIGHT gain in value (depending on the upcoming 2021-22 NHL season). Plus, it's not like I don't have other Kraken hats, let alone many other Seattle sports team hats to wear. Or should I just enjoy it with pride, and wear it every game, and hopefully it becomes my lucky Krakhead hat? Take my poll below and help me decide! We got the team, I got the hat, now we just need the players. Look for that to happen on July 21st!
