Todd’s Take: Know How You Know We Live In The Country?

My wife and I had a new home built in East Valley and moved into our new abode at the end of March. We have yet to landscape as we were waiting for summer to roll around.

In the meantime, pesky weeds have sprouted up and we are trying our best to keep them from taking over and shooting weed seed into our neighbor's newly sodded yard. Yesterday, my wife tore out a bunch of overgrowth and subsequently had her tennis shoes covered in something that only those who live in rural areas are far too familiar with - those dreaded goat heads!

At least she doesn't have to buy a pair of cleats now!
