4 Central Washington State Fair SunDome Booths That Stood Out

As I turn 45 years old next month (I know, I don’t believe it either), I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been to the Central Washington State Fair and have walked through the rows and seen the wide variety of booths in the SunDome.

If I’d have to guess, I’d say probably at least 36 (since the SunDome was opened in 1990). A couple of booths inside the Yakima SunDome did catch my attention and stood out among the rest.

Central Washington State Fair Staples In The SunDome

To those of us who visit the fair every year, there are some staples that we love, and shops that we look forward to visiting every year.

The candy booth, enter to win a car, a hot tub, learn more about windows for your house, or which politician wants your vote, and the numerous booths selling toys, clothing, specialty items.

For me, one of them was the Metal Diecast Model Cars. I only say ‘WAS’ because I was working on a Batmobile collection, and thanks to that wonderful booth, I’ve collected them all.

This year, as I walked through the SunDome, there were a lot of great items to see and people to chat with, but 4 booths stood out to me. Mainly because I hadn’t seen them there before, or it was different, or the person in the booth had one heck of a pitch!
