Trump Tweets Super Bowl Congrats to Fans in Wrong State
Following the Kansas City Chiefs 31-20 comeback win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 54, President Trump, in a tradition that goes back to the Nixon administration, took time to congratulate the victors.
Back when, the POTUS would make a phone call from the White House in to the locker room of the winning team and it would be broadcast nationally. Nowadays, social media has taken the place of the old-fashioned landline.
Following Sunday's game, Trump posted on his official Twitter page his remarks to the people of Kansas City, Kansas. One problem, however... The Chiefs play in Kansas City, MISSOURI!
