Union Gap, Washington’s ‘Dining For Dollars Day’ Is Coming
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: the public Library is one of the last remaining gems in our great city, state, and country. Where else can you go to get information, relax with a good book, and just let your imagination soar, for free?
If we don’t use and support our local libraries, who knows how long they’ll be around?
And for the Yakima Valley’s newest Library, the city of Union Gap is looking for some help, and letting you get a great meal in the process.
Dining For Dollars Day in Union Gap, Washington
In a post on the Friends of Union Gap Library and Community Center’s social media page, they’ve announced a partnership with Jean’s Cottage Inn for Dining For Dollars Day!
“Show your support for our Union Gap Library and Community Center on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 8:00 am to 6:45 pm at Jean’s Cottage Inn!”
$1 from each meal purchased, whether it’s to-go or enjoyed at the restaurant, will go to benefit the new Union Gap Library and Community Center.
This isn’t the first time a Dining for Dollars event has been held in Union Gap, with one taking place this past April with Old Town Station, and a handful of more planned in 2025.
The Union Gap Library opened its doors in October and is always welcome to donations and funds to help keep it going strong in the community.
