Whoa! Check Out the Snow on Snoqualmie Pass!

Well, it's only Oct. 8, but it feels like we are into November or even December here in the Yakima Valley. Overnight lows this week will be dipping into the 20s! If you haven't turned your heat on yet, I'm impressed. But I'm sure that time is coming this week.

It's not only cold here, but also over the mountain passes. Check out some of these images that the Washington State Department of Transportation posted to their social media Tuesday afternoon. There is snow over Snoqualmie Pass! Stevens also had some snow.

Studded tires aren't legal in the state of Washington until Nov 1. Meantime, carry chains and drive safe if you are traveling over the mountain passes.
