It takes a lot of hands and a lot of heart to help out everyone who needs it, ESPECIALLY during the holidays! Those hearts and hands also like to ride, and you’re invited to join them! They’ll be revving engines, hittin’ the road, and collecting toys and donations!

If you missed Salvation Army’s 45th Annual Toy Run this past weekend, don’t worry; you have another opportunity to get your bike out and ride for a good cause!

“Bring a new, unwrapped toy, gift, or cash donation for kids, teens, or moms!”
– Yakima HOG

The Toy Run will start at Apple State Power Sports at 1707 N. 1st Street in Yakima, which also doubles as one of the drop-off / donation locations. Kickstands up at noon, and the toy run begins!

Donations for this Toy Run will benefit the YWCA of Yakima, and if you’d like to help but can’t ride, donations of new unwrapped toys or gifts for kids and teenagers are welcome. Other fitting items like hygiene needs and new clothes, as well as cash donations, are welcome to help out kids, teens, and moms!

For more information on donating or joining, contact Cymaron Torrez at the YWCA at 509-248-7796 or Frank Orlando at 509-949-7388.
