Yakima Residents Fail To Not Save For Rainy Day
According to data crunched by the folks at SmartAsset.com, Yakima County ranks as the 5th best in the state of Washington for private savings opportunities.
In a recent survey conducted by Bankrate, one in five Americans do not save ANY money and those that do save very little. Using data such as per capita income, tax rates and spending amounts, SmartAsset concluded that Yakimanians save their cash at a rate of 0.21% per person. Yakima County's neighbor to the north, Kittitas County, fared slightly better, clocking in at #3.
King County ranked number one overall.
