Yakima Valley Is Getting a Hemp Crawl on 4/20
JUST DOOB IT!
There are a handful of businesses in the Upper Yakima Valley that will be celebrating Thursday, April 20th, better known as 4/20 Day. Stores like Yakima Weed Co., Happy Time, Fire Cannabis, and Local Roots will be taking advantage of their special permits issued by the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board to sell their hemp products. This year, budtenders at four Slow Burn locations in Yakima, Moxee, and Union Gap will be targeting cannabis users with a day of special events.
You must be 21+ to attend any events on 4/20 Day.
WHERE DID 4/20 DAY COME FROM, ANYWAY?
Four-Twenty Day is the catchphrase that came out of the 1970s based on the time of day users of the “doobie” liked to light up. (Do an online search for “The Waldos” for reference.)
4/20 DAY HEMP CRAWL IN YAKIMA VALLEY
Instead of organizing a bar and pub crawl, owners of Slow Burn are hosting a “Hemp Crawl”, which is a fancy way of asking hemp users to stop by their stores and celebrate the day in a fun way. Some of our staff will be broadcasting live on this big holiday with the 4/20 Hemp Crawl at The Slow Burn. If you enjoy this event, you’ll probably enjoy attending Seattle Hemp Fest this summer, too.
