PHOTO RECAP: Take A Look At The 32nd Annual Central Washington Sportsmen Show
With the 32nd Annual Central Washington Sportsmen Show in the books, it was another great event. Let’s take a look at some of the excitement, demonstrations, and exhibits that were on display at the Yakima Valley Sundome in case you were unable to attend this past weekend.
The Central Washington Sportsmen Show ran from Friday, February 24th, thru Sunday, the 26th, and welcomed everyone. Guests got to see the latest in outdoor gear, boats, motors, RVs, hunting and fishing equipment, and more from a wide variety of vendors.
The animal exhibits were some of my favorites. Brad’s World Reptiles from Corvallis, Oregon was there with Snakes and other reptiles on full display, including an alligator around 4 to 5 feet long. They allowed you to pet it, but I stayed away. It was very impressionable because it lay so still. Every time I walked by it, I thought it was fake, and then I’d see the eye move ever so slightly, so nope, I kept all my fingers.
I didn’t see an archery range like in years past, but I was entertained by the fishing pond and the laser sight target practicing area. The staff on hand who worked with the guests were great. They took time to explain and educate everyone who asked. Safety was a top priority, and you could tell they truly cared.
