It’s National Tattoo Story Day — How Did You Get Your Tattoo?

Today (Sept. 16) is National Tattoo Story Day and man, I know you have some dang good stories on how you got your tattoo. Here is mine!My very first tattoo was of Gumby, believe that? I was drunk as hell on MD 20/20 and I was dared to take a needle and thread with some ink and do it myself. I said hell no. But I asked the person who dared me, if he'd do it for me. So he did. Right on the side of my foot! What in the hell was I thinking?

I didn't hurt at all, which is why I have 38 more tattoos. I have since covered that Gumby up with a panther (see photo), but I will always remember, or kind of not remember, the tattoo!
