Kyle MacLachlan is one of own. Born and raised in Yakima, graduated from IKE and went on to do big films and movies like Dune, The Flintstones, Blue Velvet, The Doors, Portlandia and, a personal favorite, Twin Peaks. Although he's full-blown Hollywood he has never forgotten where he comes from and still gives Yakima the occasional shout-out when he can.

Just today he posted this fun little video on his social media accounts. If you didn't get a chance to see it I thought I'd share.

Starting off with his Eisenhower High School graduation photo from 1977, a photo he has shared before on social media. Also shows a brief look at him casually in that era which is always fun to see.

Whether he's in Hollywood working on his next project, in Walla Walla pouring another glass of his Pursued By Bear wine or even making an occasional appearance in Yakima to visit family or appear at a local fundraiser, he's Yakima, for sure.
