Patriotic Mtn Dew Hits The Yakima Valley! White Review!

I believe it was the great musician Rupert Holmes who sang in his 1979 song Escape:

“If you like Piña Coladas, and getting’ caught in the rain?”

Well, no rain is needed for the new patriotic flavor from Mtn Dew because HOLY CRAP!

Just like with my review of the other patriotic flavor from Mtn Dew (Star Spangled Splash), here’s my legal C.Y.A.

Taste Test of Mtn Dew: Freedom Fusion

Who would have thought that Freedom tasted like a carbonated Piña Colada? I was not a fan of the drink before I had it in soda form, and I’m still not a fan after.

If you love the mix of coconut, pineapple, and Mtn Dew zest, then you’ll like this. I did not.

2nd Opinion of Mtn Dew: Freedom Fusion

My friends Eugene and Nathan once again helped me out for the taste testing of this patriotic pop. Eugene commented how the drink looks like water aeration! Then he tried it.

“Oh God!” – Eugene T. (Not impressed with it).

Nathan seemed to like it the most out of the three of us, talking about the tropical vibe and the pineapple aftertaste, but he still wasn’t a fan.

Final thoughts: According to our taste buds, it’s a piña colada soda. If that's your thang, you're in luck!
