Need a Break? Let the Yakima Library Take Five with Story Time

I was hanging out at Mom's place and she pointed out the Yakima Valley Library is offering a phone-in storytime.

The program has been going for about two weeks now and each Monday new books are chosen to be read in Spanish and in English. The neatest part. You can call in and set your child up to listen to the story over the phone.

For the English version call 509-494-0664 and for the Spanish version call 509-494-0665.

During Covid-19 the Yakima Valley Libraries has shuttered their doors but they wanted to remind everyone that you can sign-up for a FREE digital library card. Once you've signed-up and in you now have access to their digital library.

If you and your family have always participated in the Summer reading program know it will take place and information should be coming out in a few weeks.
