Old Country Buffet in Union Gap Closes For Good, on Auction Block
COVID-19 is, most likely the death nail in the buffet restaurant industry as it seems that they were already becoming a thing of yesteryear in the first place. How buffet-style establishments will be able to continue successfully seems very slim in this new coronavirus world we were all dropped in to.
Just like its fellow store in the Columbia Center Mall in Kennewick, the Old Country Buffet at 2513 Main Street in Union Gap across South First Street from Skateleand has shuttered for good and is auctioning off much of their kitchen equipment, furniture and the like via the Auction Nation.com house. The auction will end on Wednesday, January 6th at 12:00 p.m. Winning bidders can load-out their items "from the close of the last item in the auction until 6pm and Thursday 1/7/21 from 9am to 5pm."
The liquidation includes 150 "lots" - basically, separate items -- to bid on.
