I love to watch construction workers when they are rock blasting. How exciting is it to be the one to do it -- and dangerous! Seeing bulldozers up so high it looks like they are going to fall over is the craziest thing in the world.

Well, good new for me. Bad news for Interstate 90 drivers -- crews will be blasting rock from now (Aug. 31) through Wednesday (Sept. 2) at Snoqualmie Pass. The work will close all lanes between 7 and 9 p.m. all three days, according to the  Washington State Department of Transportation. So make your travel arrangements accordingly. You will also see delays across the Vantage Bridge due to single-lane eastbound traffic. Despite the work, the Vantage Bridge will remain open for the time being.
