During a three-hour broadcast, the NFL released the 2020 NFL schedule on Thursday May 7) and the Seattle Seahawks will be featured prominently during nationally televised prime time games.

The early part of the campaign will include two NBC Sunday Night Football broadcasts within the first five weeks of the season.

After opening the year on the road at Mercedes Benz Stadium against the Falcons, the peacock nationally televised home opener in Week 2 is against the Tom Brady-less New England Patriots at CenturyLink Field.

Seattle also gets the NBC treatment in Week 5 hosting the Vikings. Another home national broadcast on FOX and the NFL Network takes place when Arizona comes to Seattle in Week 11.

The only other nationally televised game, (flex scheduling notwithstanding) in which Seattle will participate, will be as a visitor, in the following week, Week 12, going to the City of Brotherly Love to play Philadelphia on ESPN.

Every team in the NFC West plays every team in the AFC East this year. Seattle goes to Miami and Buffalo; (Weeks 4 and 9) and will host the before mentioned Patriots in Week 2, and welcome the New York Jets in Week 14, then the New York Giants will be in town during Week 13.
