Todd’s Blog: Proud Dad Moment As I Watch My Son Strike Out a Hitter

I'm sorry.  I must apologize for subjecting you to this.

I fully understand that every parent thinks their kid is the greatest and to everybody else the child is a mediocre, snot-nosed little twerp.

That said, when one has access to a radio station website, the temptation to broadcast my boy's minor athletic achievements is too great to pass up! I hope you'll understand.

Drew is 9 years old and has been playing some version of organized baseball since he was 4. While he loves catching, he isn't quite big or strong enough yet to get much playing time there. The one thing he does have going for him is a tremendously accurate throwing arm, as evidenced in this video shot out at Loftus Field in East Valley last night.

Like the song says, "For it's 1 ... 2 ... 3 strikes you're out at the old ballgame!"
