The Yakima County Coroner has now identified two sets of human remains found near Toppenish last month as a 25-year-old man and a 47-year-old man from California reported missing year. Last month Coroner Jim Curtice identified the first set of remains as that of Josiah Michael "Jo" Hilderbrand. He says his death has been ruled a homicide. On Tuesday Curtice identified the other set of remains as 47-year-old Jon Cleary. His death has also been ruled a homicide.
Hilderbrand and Cleary were reported missing on June 7, 2019 as they were driving to the Gorge Amphitheatre. Their car was found burned near Toppenish.
The two men went missing on the same day five people were killed in White Swan.
No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
