Yummy Mummy and Frute Brute Return to Your Breakfast Cereal Isle in Time for Halloween

As many things rise from the dead and beyond for Halloween, General Mills is bringing back two classic breakfast cereals to join Count Chocula, Frankenberry and Boo Berry. Please welcome the return of Yummy Mummy and Frute Brute.

General Mills marketing manager Ari Zainuddin said he would get requests often to bring them back to he's just giving the fans what they want.

There will be a couple of slight changes. Fruit Brute is now Frute Brute as there is no fruit in the cereal through some more recent food laws. Also, both used to be 'fruit flavored' but now have their own unique taste as Frute Brute is more cherry flavored and Yummy Mummy has, what they says, an orange cream flavor (think orange creamsicles).

I usually pick up a box of each of the monster cereals around Halloween each year. Now it looks like the Count and the rest of the crew will have more friends in my pantry.

There's still no word on if both of these cereals will last beyond this year or if it's a one-time thing, but I have to imaging if they sell well, there'd be no reason not to bring them back annually.
