State resources have been called in to help battle the Thorp Rd. fire that has engulfed over 5,000 acres in east Yakima Valley.
A helicopter can be seen in this video, captured by 94.5 KATS-FM listener Erik Von Gohren, scooping water from a canal to help battle the nearby blaze.
