Free Shuttle Rides From Union Gap Offered to State Fair
Planning on attending at least one day of the fair this year? Do you want to save the worry and headache of finding a parking spot AND save money in doing so as well?
Then this may just be the ticket for you!
The city of Union Gap, along with their public transportation system run by Medstar, has announced that they will be offering free shuttle buses throughout the entire 10-day run of the 2021 Central Washington State Fair. Shuttle buses will run continuously every day from the pick-up/drop-off location at the fire house parking lot in Union Gap located at 107 West Ahtanum Road. Passengers can hitch a ride and then head directly to the front gates of the fair being dropped off in the bus express lane next to the SunDome, saving on parking fees.
Shuttle buses will begin operating a half-an-hour before the fair opens each day and will stop running a half-an-hour after the fair closes each night. Both a car seat as well as a booster seat will be made available to those traveling with infants, babies, youngsters and/or small children.
What times will shuttles be running to the Central Washington State Fair?
The schedule from Union Gap is as follows from when the fist bus departs from the fire station to when the last one leaves the fair grounds each day:
9/24 - Friday: 11:30 A.M./11:30 P.M.
9/25 - Saturday: 10:30 A.M./11:30 P.M.
9/26 - Sunday: 10:30 A.M./11:30 P.M.
9/27-30 - Monday-Thursday: 11:30 A.M./10:30 P.M.
10/1 - Friday: 11:30 A.M./11:30 P.M.
10/2 - Saturday: 10:30 A.M./11:30 P.M.
10/3 - Sunday: 10:30 A.M./9:30 P.M.
