Get Paid to be at ‘Simulated Patient’ to Help Train Healthcare Workers
This sounds like a fun opportunity to someone who wants to showcase their talents while making a few bucks in the process. Pacific Northwest University is looking for people to pretend like they're sick with various symptoms in an effort to help future generations of healthcare workers.
According to someone there, the job is flexible with you choosing which shifts you want. A minimum of two shifts per month with a maximum with as many characters you can keep in your head.
Shifts often run Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. or 12:15 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. with some slowdown during the summer and over Christmas.
Here's what a typical day is like to be a simulated patient.
If you're wondering, yes, just like Kramer was on Seinfeld.
