If I said it once, I'll say it again... where were these educators at when I was in school? This time around the head of a school decided to ditch the boring education for a little T.A., and I'm not talking about Teacher's Assistance.

The head of Holy Family Catholic School, located in Port Allen, Louisiana, was on a school sponsored field trip to Washington, D.C. when he decided to try for some extra curricular activities. Friday morning, May 31st, police responded to Archibald's Gentlemen's Club at about 2:20am and found Michael Comeau intoxicated and blocking a roadway outside of the strip club. He was charged with public intoxication and possession of an open container of alcohol. Don't worry, the kids were not allowed into the strip club, probably because of a no neck tie rule, or the fact that they were under 21.

According to a report by WAFB9, the Diocese of Baton Rouge commented:

The incident occurred when the students on the trip were in their hotel rooms for the evening under the supervision of other chaperones. Mr. Comeau had been principal of Holy Family School for five years and prior to that time had served in public education in the surrounding area.

Mr. Comeau has submitted his resignation as principal and an interim principal will be appointed.

Before the incident Comeau had been an award winning educator, receiving the Milken Education award and being recognized as one of the 20 outstanding teachers by USA Today. He is also not with out his scandals after resigning from a previous school back in 2006 due to mishandling $120,000 in Hurricane Katrina recovery donations.
