Scouting the Nude Beach

Going to Scouts to guide a youngster's life is amazing, entertaining and educational! You see many things you don't see on a day-to-day adventure. Trees, wildlife, NAKED PEOPLE!

A San Diego Cub Scout group was taking a nature hike that got out of the rough, and into the buff. While hiking to the Torrey Pines State Park, the troop's leader took the youngsters (8- and 9-year-old boys) across a nude beach.

Parents who were on the hike with their child were shocked when the realized where they were going, freaked out and confronted the Scoutmaster, Desmond Wheatley. The family filed a complaint with the Boy Scouts who quickly rerouted the path taken to "protect the youth."

I'd love to see that merit badge.
