‘Shark Week’ Started Early for Kelly West — What WAS That Thing?

We took a vacation to the coast last week. Fantastic time! We made a bunch of sand castles on the beach. But when I went to take a picture of one our sand castles, I looked up and saw what I think was a shark!We ran as fast as we could toward the ocean to get a glimpse, but when we got there it jumped and splashed before I could snap a better picture. Look at the picture above -- it's right above my sand castle! Awesome! Whatever it was swam off. I think it was scared of us -- or me! HA!

Interesting that it all happened just before 'Shark Week' on the Discovery Channel!
