I know we're all in a rush!

A rush to get to work, a rush to get to appointments, and when all that rushing around is done, we're in a rush to get home.

I've written in the past how too much of a hurry can be costly. Not just from a possible traffic ticket, but damage to your car (like a certain lady had, I'm sure, hurrying out of our radio station parking lot), or a cost that money can't replace or fix.

The reason I'm writing about this topic again, is because of the badly parked car (pictured above and below).

I can only assume that this person was either in a hurry to get home, or to get their appointment.

This is right by a medical clinic in the Yakima Valley, that is in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

As you can tell, they parked so far into the sidewalk that you cannot get around the car, unless you walk behind it and into the street.

I'm not sure if someone was hurrying home, or rushing to get to the doctor's office, but, whatever the reason, did they need to park this badly and block the sidewalk?

You might be asking, "what's the big deal, just walk around?"

Normally I would agree, but considering I was with my father who is using a walker, it really annoyed me.

MAYBE, it was an elderly person heading to the doctor, and is doing their best behind the wheel.

Holy crap, that's even scarier. Please, find some help. Everyone else, slow down, that precious 10 seconds that you saved by rushing, I'm sure you spent wisely scrolling on your phone.

There is a group on Facebook called "Yakima County Bad Driver Shaming And Car Events", I haven't posted this picture there (yet), but it has shamed many people!

Just a little FYI, slow down, park better, be better.
