After having a tail wagging good time in the park for their first ever Summer Bash (with food, vendors, music, tattoos, and lots of pets finding new homes, check out the recap for that event here), the Yakima Humane Society is gearing up for their next big event! This one is all about Halloween!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 28th from 2 pm to 6 pm for Woof or Treat! This Halloween pet party will be at Sherman Park, located right outside the Yakima Humane Society's shelter at 2405 W. Birtchfield Rd. on the Yakima Greenway by the Arboretum.

There will be food, vendors, face painting, tattoos, animals to pet, and more importantly, pets to adopt!

How Can I Help The Yakima Humane Society?

If you can't make it to the event, but would like to help and support in other ways, donations of supplies or even money are always welcome. They can make a dollar stretch to help a lot of amazing animals. If you cannot donate anything financially, hopefully, you can spare some time. Volunteers are always needed. Whether it's help at the shelter or just coming by to spend some time and walk the dogs. Anything is appreciated!
