Yakima’s Been Waiting & Now Chocolate Covered Pretzel OREO Cookies Are Here

Apparently, my wife and I have an issue with trust and secrets. This came to light the other day when I came home from the store and told her how I had a surprise for her.

Without missing a beat, she guessed, "Did you get the pretzel Oreo cookies?"

I, at a loss for words, was surprised, and told her yes, in defeat. She then told me how she's been looking forward to these for a while.

For a while!?!? How long had she known about these and kept them a secret, and not informed me to be on the lookout in Yakima so I could be excited when I spotted them at the store too?  We're going to have to have a talk once our mouths aren't full of new Oreo cookies.

Chocolate Covered Pretzel Oreo Cookies Taste Test

No real distinct smell, and when I ate one, it was good. I didn't get a lot of pretzel taste, but the crème center was a good rich chocolate.

After the second cookie (I don't take bites, I eat the entire cookie) I got the faint pretzel saltiness from the cookie part.

These were good, but I didn't get the pretzel taste.

2nd Opinion Taste Test: Chocolate Covered Pretzel Oreo Cookies

My wife Stephanie was excited to try it, and after eating one, she laughed and, with her mouth full, said:

"Oh my god!" 

She liked them. She then admitted that she felt bad because her reaction to most of the stuff she tried was the same.

"I can't tell you what it is supposed to be, but once you tell me what it is, I get it."

Is the mind playing tricks based on the title suggestion, or is the taste really there? Probably both, but we both agree, these are good!
