Cops Ask Man to Stop Calling About Stolen Weed
The 911 dispatch center in Pasco County, Fla., kept getting calls from an individual reporting how his roommate kept stealing his weed. After repeated phone calls, authorities finally decided to call him back to tell him to stop calling. Deputy Neal Zalva recorded a video for the #TweetAlong campaign (which helps give the public a behind-the-scenes look into law enforcement), of what he gets to do!
Even though recreational marijuana use is still illegal in Florida, a spokesman for the sheriff's department said how no charges were filed against the caller.
