The Summer Soda Yakima Deserves? Pineapple Pepsi Review!

I was pretty excited earlier this week when my friends surprised me with lunch.

Mainly because, as a heavier fellow, it was pizza and because they had a new flavor of Pepsi not only to try, but also to review!

We’ve had crystal, blue, cherry, vanilla, mango, peeps, and now… Pineapple!?!

Taste Test of Pepsi Pineapple

You could smell the pineapple as soon as you opened the bottle!

I was stoked because my favorite Monster energy drink flavor was the white pineapple flavor (black and yellow cans).

This… was not as good as that. Not as good as Cherry Pepsi. Not as good as Vanilla Pepsi. Not as good as Pepsi Blue.

It wasn’t bad; it was just the least enjoyable of all the varieties of Pepsi I have tried.

2nd Opinion of Pepsi Pineapple

Eugene (who has helped with past reviews) didn’t care for it, but he did give it some credit!

Nathan (who has also helped review in the past) liked it the best. He actually enjoyed it more than Cherry Pepsi. Proven by the fact that he was the first one to finish his bottle.

The Unusual Partnership of Pepsi Pineapple

I saw the mascot for Little Caesars Pizza on the label and was curious. Eugene and Nathan told me that, according to the clerk, you can only get this flavor of Pepsi at Little Caesars Pizza.

Did it “pair” well with the pizza? I’m in the “no-pineapple on pizza” camp. That being said, no it did not!

Final thoughts: Kudos to Pepsi for trying new things and giving EXACTLY what they say they are. The drink is Pineapple Pepsi, and that is what you get: pineapple-flavored Pepsi!
