National touring comedian and impressionist Craig Gass graced the stage of The Seasons Performance Hall on Friday, January 19th, 2024. Bringing his stories of celebrity interactions, impressions, and world wide travels which in turn, brought laughs to the crowd, who definitely enjoyed the laughs after the harsh weather we've been having in the valley as of late!

The show kicked off with radio personality and founding member of Yakima's own Manic Thunder Improv Troupe, Tim "Timmy" Hubert taking the stage. His half hour set included jokes about his relationship with his wife and son (a dog named Rusty), humorous and humble impressions (giving the audience a taste of what was to come), Christmas, and the 3 dumbest jokes he has ever written.

The Seasons Performance Hall Has Got Gass!

Yakima received a preview of Craig's comedy on several radio stations throughout this past week, but nothing beats the real thing, live on stage!

Opening the show Craig had some thoughts and impressions about traveling in Yakima with the weather, and being on stage telling jokes at a "haunted church." His nearly hour and half long set got into full steam when the impressions took center stage, along with actual events from his life.

Celebrity impressions of Tracey Morgan, Adam Sandler, Dee Snider, Christopher Walken, and many more were interwoven through tales of his adventures in New York, Las Vegas, and Hollywood, doing comedy, opening for rock bands at their concerts, and his work on TV and radio.

Highlights from Craig's time on stage were his work on The Howard Stern Show, and his interactions with Gene Simmons of KISS, including the first time meeting Gene, and a later interaction with Craig in full blown KISS "The Demon" costume.

He had the audience on pins and needles as he told the heart felt story of his deaf mother's final days on this planet, in a touching tribute to her. Where many comedians can tell a heart felt story, Craig dominated it, by giving it a heart felt and hilarious punch line at the end of the tale.

This show marked Craig's 3rd time performing in Yakima in the past 10 years, and fingers crossed, he'll be back soon! And when he does, we'll let you know. Make sure you have our station app!
