Get An Adorable Family Member! Yakima Humane Society Adoption Event This Saturday!
There have been numerous studies that show that having a pet is good for you. It gets you up and moving, helping your physical health. Knowing that there's someone at home waiting for you to arrive can help relieve stress, and not to mention the smile and happiness caused by the dopamine released every time you see a wagging tail can support a positive mental and emotional outlook.
If you are able to get a new family member and give them a forever home, there's an event this weekend put on by the Yakima Humane Society and Winco!
"Don't miss our Wilco pop-up adoption event! This Saturday from 10 am - 3 pm, at 5801 Summitview Ave Suite A, Yakima, WA 98908. We hope to see you there!" – Yakima Humane Society Facebook Page
The Pop-Up Adoption Event will be held at Wilco (5801 Summitview Ave.) on Saturday, June 17th, from 10 am to 3 pm. Dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens will be on hand, ready to join a new family! Adoption charges will vary on the age and species of the pets.
This event is free to attend and is family-friendly! For more details, you can check out the Wilco Adoption Event Facebook page or at YakimaHumane.org. If it's not the right time to adopt a pet but still want to help, donations are always welcome!
