Magic 8 Ball: 2019 Football Pick ‘Em Round Up!

With the KATS 2019 Pro Football Pick 'Em contest, brought to you by Yakima Steak Co., wrapped up, I figure I should take a look back at how sucky the 8 ball did! I kept track of my picks using the dark arts, week to week (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17) and I could tell early on, it was not going to be a good year. After the first week I was only sitting at 50%, that's still like a D- in school. In 2018, the 8 Ball ended the season with a 52% accuracy, this year, 48.05%. So it sucked harder!

There is a good thing looking at the above chart, I did come in 3rd place between all of the radio station employees who participated, including defeating Reesha who was a major powerhouse early on. But most of the people I beat, either truthfully, or lying to save face, told me how they just forgot to get their picks in, and that kept happening week to week. Todd Beat Me! Although I expected his vast knowledge to be a little better than 58.2%, but even he missed 2 weeks worth of picks. So all and all, the 8 Ball has sucked in 2019. I was going to ask about the final upcoming Seahawk games, but knowing the 8-Ball's track record, I did not want to jinx the team.

So, should I use the 8-Ball in 2020? Or should I find a new way to make my picks? I do not know know anything about football, especially the definition of a "tight end", and it's fun for me to give fate a chance to play along. Take the poll below, and we'll see what 2020 holds!
